You can play music, video and photo content from a PC or network media server connected to the same LAN and featuring multimedia content server functionality

Operate your Pioneer receiver and Blu-ray player with your iPhone or iPod touch in a wireless LAN environment using iControlAV, a remote control application for your iPhone or iPod touch

BD-Live players include a minimum of 1GB local memory and bring picture-in-picture and online functionality via the player's internet connection. The profile allows you to download up-to-date content to add to the movie, from refreshed trailers to exclusive special features. Profile 5 players have BD-Live, and are also capable of 3D playback
PQLS Ensures Jitterless Transmission
Our unique PQLS ensures jitterless transmission of uncompressed 2-channel or multi-channel LPCM, and now also bitstream audio over HDMI to compatible Pioneer AV receivers
Full HD Quality (1080p)
The BDP-430 features 1920 x 1080 full high definition resolution
x.v. Color
x.v.Color (also known as xvYCC or Extended-gamut YCC) is a color space that supports 1.8 times as many colors as the RGB color space. The result is that you see greens, reds and blues far deeper than previously possible
Deep Color (36-bit)
Deep Color ensures that all color transitions and gradients are reproduced with the highest level of precision. It enables increased contrast ratio, eliminates on-screen color banding (for smooth tonal transitions and subtle gradations between colors) and can represent many times more shades of gray between black and white. So what you see is as natural and lifelike as possible
PQLS with HDMI
The PQLS (Precision Quartz Lock System) is a transfer control technology using the KURO LINK function. The player's output signals are controlled by the AV receiver to achieve high quality sound playback from a CD using the quartz oscillator of the AV receiver. This eliminates the influence of the jitter generated upon transfer which can adversely affect the sound quality
DTS-HD High Resolution Audio
DTS-HD Master Audio is an extension to the original DTS audio format. It delivers up to 7.1 channels of sound at 24-bit depth resolution. DTS-HD High Resolution Audio is selected as an optional surround sound format for Blu-ray Disc with constant bit rates up to respectively 6Mbps and 3Mbps. It is supposed to be an alternative for DTS-HD Master Audio where disc space may not allow it
DTS-HD Master Audio Essential
DTS-HD Master Audio Essential provides the same quality high-end sound offered by DTS-HD Master Audio, and is a full Master Audio feature set for Blu-ray Disc, with the exception of DTS ES Matrix and NEO 6. Although DTS-HD Master Audio Essential does not currently support DTS | 96 /24, DTS ES, ES Matrix, and DTS NEO 6, for standard DVD discs, it offers DTS backwards compatibility, allowing you to enjoy DVDs in high quality DTS Digital Surround
DTS-HD Master Audio
Dolby TrueHD is an advanced lossless multi-channel audio codec from Dolby Laboratories. DTS-HD Master Audio is also a lossless audio codec created by Digital Theater System (DTS). Both codecs are intended primarily for high-definition home-entertainment equipment, such as Blu-ray Disc. Put simply, the result is that you can now enjoy high resolution images accompanied by lush studio-quality HD sound
Dolby Digital Plus
Dolby Digital Plus is a digital audio compression scheme developed specifically for Blu-ray Disc. It is a development of the earlier Dolby Digital system. Compared to Dolby Digital, it supports a greater range of bitrates at higher quality and up to thirteen full range audio channels compared with Dolby Digital's original five
Dolby Digital
The current surround sound quality decoding standard, Dolby Digital means movie theater sound performance for a home cinema. The listener will be wrapped in surround sound by 5.1-channel audio sound compression technology. Depending on the speakers, the front left and right, center, rear left and right speakers can span frequencies from 20 Hz - 20 kHz and there is a dedicated subwoofer channel for additional low frequency sound effects. Extra features mean not only stunning soundtracks but also additional language tracks on one disc
Additional Audio Features
Dynamic Range Control / DTS-ES / DTS 96/24 / Dolby Digital EX / DTS / DTS CD Capability / Dolby TrueHD
KURO LINK
KURO LINK means that you are able to control basic functions of compatible Pioneer audio/visual devices (such as your Blu-ray player, amplifier or DVD recorder), with your KURO flat-screen TV remote control. KURO LINK is made possible via the single HDMI cable connection between your flat-screen TV and your other entertainment devices
