The new α NEX-3 deliver interchangeable lens creative freedom and SLR class image quality in a stylish, ultra-compact package.
Choose from dedicated E-mount lens for wide-angle, standard zoom, high power zoom shooting, and optional ultra-wide angle and fisheye converters. Plus, an optional mount adaptor lets you use the full range of Sony α system A-mount lens, including the digital SLR lens lineup.

It's simple to take a stunning panoramic image with 3D Sweep Panorama. HD Movie Recording
The NEX-3 is Sony's first interchangeable lens cameras to offer movie recording. It supports HD movie recording in MP4 format, so it's convenient to post clips on blogs or video-sharing websites.
Intuitive Creative Control
The NEX-3 features an easy-to-use control wheel and soft keys, letting you control the camera quickly and intuitively. Pressing and rotating the control wheel lets you access shooting, drive, and flash modes, as well as exposure compensation and other camera settings.
Built-in Help Guide and Shooting Tips
The built-in Help Guide displays a popup window with a brief description of each item or function when selecting modes or scrolling through menu items with the control wheel. It also displays easy-to-understand error messages if you attempt to perform an invalid operation, so you're never left wondering if something unexpected occurs.
In addition to basic Help Guide information, it is also equipped with built-in shooting tips. The tips provide information relevant to the current shooting situation or mode selection, and are designed with both beginners and more advanced users in mind
