Acceptance of Contract Terms
 
The following forms a legal agreement between you and Cats Digital Expert. By using this site you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms please do not use this site. The material provided on this site is protected by law, including, but not limited to, South African Copyright Law. By accessing or using this website , you, the customer, enters into the following agreement with Fotocats (Pty) Ltd. (t/a) Cats Digital Expert Reg No:88/04729/07 ("we" or "us"):
   
Price
 
The total order price will include the price of your purchase plus any applicable VAT and shipping charges. All transactions will be processed in South African Rands. Cats Digital Expert reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice. You, the customer agrees that Cats Digital Expert will not be obliged to sell a product/products at erroneous or outdated prices. We reserve the right to discount prices for specific promotions. Prices are not necessarily the same as in-store prices.

1) Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard Only).
We do not accept American Express or Diners Club Card’s. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options listed below.
 
2) EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Please allow 3 days for funds to clear.

Product Availability
 
Please note, we do not guarantee the availability or existence of a product. We reserve the right to decline any product request without giving reasons. We may provide a service whereby, in terms whereof we will endeavour to source products on your behalf from other suppliers. It is not regarded as an order but merely a request for us to provide assistance in locating a particular product. Every effort will be made to source the requested product, We will contact the relevant supplier to establish price and stock availability. All product pricing and availability will be confirmed with you telephonically or via e-mail. Products will only be ordered on payment of the purchase price.
You agree that products on display is not necessarily a guarantee of the availability of a product. Certain products may not be in stock at the time of submitting your order and delivery may therefore be delayed. Such delays shall not entitle you to withdraw your order unless we agree with you in writing that the duration of delay is unreasonable.

Refunds And Returns Policy:
 
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.

At Cats Digital Expert, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to Cats Digital Expert within 7 days of receipt of item(s). Claims for damaged or missing items must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
 
You have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving a refund for the full amount of the original purchase price. Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement. If payment was made by EFT, the EFT refund  will be issued after 5 business days from the date of purchase.
 
Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, Cats Digital Expert reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 15%.
 
How to return or exchange an item:
In order to return an item you need to first obtain an SRA (Stock Return Authorization) number. To request an SRA number, call Customer Service at 011 465 8880. Place the original package into a shipping carton. Include the invoice and the reason for the return. If defective, please specify the defect. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer’s package. The SRA number must be clearly written on the outer box. Ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Rules:

• All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.
• Items with timers must show less than 120 minutes of use. Items with shutter counters must show less than 200 exposures.
• Cats Digital Expert is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
• Defective items may be repaired or exchanged at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model
• SRA numbers are valid for 10 days.
• Cats Digital Expert is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.

      
No Return/Exchange On:

• TVs, combos and monitors 37" and larger once opened
• All consumable items (e.g., film, tapes, paper, bulbs, CD, DVDs, etc.) once unwrapped
• Computers, Software and Hardware once unwrapped
• Any computers built or modified by Cats Digital Expert to customer's specifications
• Special Order merchandise
• Underwater equipment that has been submerged
• Educational tapes ,cd’s , dvd’s and books once unwrapped
• Cats Digital Expert Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only and may not be redeemed for cash.

 
Delivery Policy

Goods will be shipped on confirmation/validation of payment if stock is available.
 
SA Courier Service
Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.

Gauteng: 3 working days (from validation of payment)
National: 7 - 10 working days (from validation of payment)
  
Receipt of goods
Please ensure that the customer placing the order is available to sign on receipt of the goods. Please produce your credit card, printed order confirmation and ID Document (South African Identity Document). For security purposes no exceptions will be made.
 
Order processing
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.

Typographical Errors
 
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, entry error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Cats Digital Expert shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for said product(s). Although your credit card normally is not charged prior to shipping an order, if your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and the order is canceled Cats Digital Expert will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
